The Green Lotus : ...The philosophical leanings of the poet as expressed in this collection seem to be impatient of what he perceived as the limitations of the thought and reason , progress and modernity and while he wants to go 'beyond thought' in his 'Self Portrait' , he advises us not to touch the rainbow with reason; and to have patience waiting for the doorman to come and unlock ; and not to over-translate oneself in wisdom and speech, but to leave oneself silent to be one with the self . The path of wisdom traversed by the poet leads one to an apparently puzzling jugglery like this hackneyed gem : 'in beginning is the end , in the end is the beginning' .....
